I tried to remember what we got for our party---I bought my maid of honor her dress, but dont think we got anything for the rest of the people (had no bridesmaids and our oldest brothers were our ushers)....and seeing as its been 20 years I cant remember anything more

(by golly, 20 years already...geesh).

I know my fiancee bought the maid of honor (her sister) her dress. And then they also are getting a gift as well. Gift cards, while an idea I like, I'm sure would be shot down due to them not be "personal" enough. I'm trying to hold off until after this weekend since I'm in my buddies wedding, which is this weekend. Then I can borrow his ideas or at least get a better idea.

Rain and storms tonight according to the forecast. Of course they said it was supposed to rain all day today and well, it didn't...

yeah it seems to rain about the same time each day and then nothing for the rest of the day---and didnt get my car out when it was raining (still need to get it washed, though still have plans for this weekend, unless its snowing!)

Well it didn't rain last night. Started raining a bit this morning. Supposed to have strong storms this afternoon so things could get interesting. And it isn't even supposed to hit 60 today. Oh well.

Yikes. It was quite exciting to get away from 40's for a bit. Back to 40's for a few days though. 60's on Sunday though.

Lots of rain today but it appears the severe thunderstorms went south of us.

almost lost power here...and the wind! think there is a tree on my balcony that wasnt there before!

We had some serious wind a couple of days ago. Hasn't been to bad the past few days, thank goodness. Though the power did flicker the day that had the heavy winds.

thanks....they have the s word in the forecast for later today....only 40's again, and rain rain and more rain (though might NOT rain on sunday!)....
my car got a bit of it today--so I am not too unhappy about it.

Dunno how the weather networks calculate the total rainfall in a given area, my rain gage says we got 6" over past 3 days. They estimate less than 1" in any area.

One advantage to my muddy driveway, it keeps the rif raf out.

Ick, no more of that s please. It is supposed to be in the 40's and raining until Sunday at least. Just hoping the rain isn't too bad on my drive up today. Going to be out of town starting later today and then through Sunday afternoon for a buddy's wedding.

Well the drive turned in to a 3 hour drive. Ran into a parking lot about 6 miles from the exit we needed to get too. So that was fun. But we made it there safely and in plenty of time. Had a wonderful time getting my buddy married and the weather wasn't too bad. Just a tad bit cool on Sunday. Now home where it is 73. Though it is only supposed to be 50 tomorrow. Oh well. It was a grand time though.

we spent the day working on the computer--only to find out windows 7 and his graphics card and monitor dont work together (I HATE windows 7)....so off to buy yet another graphics card---first one was toooo big for the case, 2nd one doesnt work with the computer, hopefully the 3rd (and final) will be juuuuuuuust right.

and yeah, a bit warmer today, with dropping temps thru the week ..oh, and yes, RAIN for everyday thru next weekend.....now just WHO wanted rain

Not really... He got us NFL cuff links that we all wore, so that was neat. But obviously I won't be doing that. Still don't really know what to do...

I actually like windows 7. XP is better but I can't go that far back if I want to run certain games. The computer I have at school has a Windows Vista graphics card driver for Windows 7. It crashes. A lot. Good going tech...

well, at least you asked....

yes, xp is still the better os....7 and vista tend to share things (which is probably why your school computer has the combo and not just one or the other), 8 well, 8 isnt a computer its a blasted phone on steriods. (I'm stickin with xp for now, tooo many problems I see with ALL of the others!!)

hey, its NOT raining! but still windy.
